First, who you talk to

Snakeconcert Floor Coating is a referral service. When you call or send a request, it is routed to an independent provider in our network. That provider is a separate business. They will be the one to discuss your floor, give a quote and do the work.

What the provider may ask

Expect a few simple questions:

• Where is the floor: garage, patio, interior or other?
• About how large is the space?
• Is there an old coating, oil, cracks or moisture?
• What look do you want, such as custom floor finishes?
• When would you like to start?

Photos can help. Have them ready if you can.

Questions to put to a provider

Use this checklist. Ask each item and write down the answers.

1. How will you prep the slab? 2. Will you test for moisture, given the humid climate? 3. What products do you use, and how do they hold up to heat and tire marks? 4. What does the written quote include? 5. How long will the floor need before I can use it? 6. What warranty, if any, comes in writing from you? 7. Do you carry your own license and insurance, where required?

Typical U.S. prices vary a lot by size, prep and product, so compare written quotes.
